Listed below are I/O cards.

8-bit card 8-bit ISA bus connection - it is an 8-bit industry standard architecture bus used on the orginal 8088 computers.

16-bit card 16 - bit ISA bus connection
- it is a 16-bit ISA bus designed for the 186 AT and is still used in Pentiums for modems.

mcirochannel Architecture card Microchannel Architecture (MCA) bus - this was the earlier 32-bit design by IBM, used in the PS/2 computers.

Extended Industry Standard Architecture EISA (Extended Industry Standard Architecture) bus - was designed to compete with the MCA bus.

VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) bus - was a local bus used on 80486 compuer for connecting 32 bit adapters.
