Lesson Thirteen--Importance of Advance Directives

Dixie Merrill

Video Importance of Advance Directives

In our situation and with my husband's Mother they had an excellent foresight of having a living trust.

Which was made a very difficult situation easy.

In the respect of her health care we knew with an advanced directive that was on file with the home
of where she was.

Everything was in writing of her wishes, which was extremely fortunate because of her loss of the
ability to communicate.

And, so we knew and we knew as a family That we were doing is what she wanted.

It was written before the situation came to be.

So we were prepared just like the scouts.

I was walking my husband up into the house and I said the sun came up today.

Our life is not over we're here to continue and live with the memories.

It's hard.
